What is Google Bard?

A new chatbot tool called Google Bard was released in response to rival artificial intelligence (AI) systems like ChatGPT. It employs a combination of machine learning and natural language processing to replicate human conversations while giving you accurate and practical answers to your concerns. Such tools are especially helpful for smaller businesses looking to provide consumers with natural language support without hiring big teams of support personnel or enhancing Google’s search tools.

Bard can be included in various digital systems, including websites, messaging platforms, and desktop and mobile applications. For now, outside of a limited beta test run, it is not readily accessible.

But what is Google Bard? When will it be available in the market? Who is the winner – Chat GPT vs Bard? Let’s decode these questions with Cleuz.

What is Google Bard?

Bard is Google’s answer to ChatGPT. Although it is an AI chatbot with many of the same features, it is intended to eventually complement Google’s existing search tools and offer automated support and human-like interaction for businesses.

It has been under development for some time and employs LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) technology. It is based on Google’s Transformer neural network architecture, which served as the foundation for a number of other AI-generating tools, including ChatGPT’s GPT-3 language model.

When will Google Bard be available for use?

The general public has not yet been given access to Google Bard. Pichai claims that they are only using a small group of “trusted testers” to test Bard. They’ve made the decision to get conversational responses using the Bard AI. We may see Bard more readily available in the coming weeks.

Who is the winner? Google Bard vs. ChatGPT

Both Google Bard and ChatGPT use machine learning and natural language models to build their chatbots, but they each have a unique set of functionality. At the time of writing, Google Bard has the capacity to use current data for its responses, whereas ChatGPT is solely dependent on data that was mostly gathered up to 2021. Although ChatGPT has a strong emphasis on conversational queries and responses, it is now also utilized to respond to more conversational searches in Bing’s search results. A similar approach will be taken with Google Bard, but just to enhance Google.

Both chatbots are based on slightly different language models. ChatGPT is based on GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer), while Google Bard uses LaMBDA. In addition, ChatGPT has a plagiarism checker, although Google Bard does not as of yet. While Google Bard is only accessible to beta testers, ChatGPT is readily available for use.
